Gene Farris - Unable to fly to Australia

Gene Farris was unable to play his scheduled gigs at Electric Circus, Melbourne on the 16th November and Kink, Sydney on the 17th November.

Gene arrived at the airport to fly to Melbourne and was informed by United Airlines that he could not travel because his visa was not valid. Gene spent all day in the airport in an attempt to sort out this issue, however it was to no avail.

By the end of the day, United Airlines informed Gene that they had made a mistake and his Visa was valid, however, by then it was too late to catch the flight and he was asked to return the next day.

Gene did so, but was then informed the scheduled flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Eventually, he caught a flight on Sunday but this was obviously too late to play Melbourne or Sydney.

Gene is really dissapointed at the situation as he was looking forward to both gigs and he wants to apologise to all his fans who were hoping to see him play. However, both Elite and Gene would like to point out that the cancelations were not the fault of ourselves, Gene or the clubs - but solely with United Airlines.
