Since its inception in mid 2007 Luke Dzierzek's Fling Recordings has been responsible for releasing some of the hottest underground records in dance music. Bringing new and young artists such as Le Noir, TG and Miniminds through whilst also bringing more established names such as Radio Slave, King Unique & Deadset in for remix duty. Now its time for label boss Luke Dzierzek to return to the fray and have his first release on the label since he launched the label with the outstanding 'Identity EP'.
Now with his first release since The Identity EP, Luke switches alias to DZI enabling him to be more diverse with his sound and really flex his production muscles. The fruits of his labour are here for to all to see, and what a release this is! 'Unleash' is an epic end of night record with some of the most beautiful melodies you are likely to hear all year. A real hands in the air moment which retains the energy thanks to Lukes awesome drum work and bottom end which growls on a loud system like a motherf****r. Expect this to be massive with the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Prydz and the rest of Lukes ever growing fan club.
On The B side 'The Beast' explores Lukes darker techno side with a sub bass driven dancefloor bomb that builds and builds for over 7 minutes, subtly changing and twisting your mind to create a real 5am moment to loose yourself in. This new direction for Luke is reflected in his dj sets over the past year which have heard him effortlessly mix house, techno, electro and progressive elements to create a unique and spellbinding sound.
The track will be released on the 31st March and the promo copies have been filling many DJ boxes:
