Ding Dong! Wiggle is well chuffed to announce that we’re going back to an amazing venue we used some years ago, but couldn’t get hold of again until now. It goes under the name of Hidden these days and is even more special with some extra tweaks they’ve done to the place since we last used it! it now boasts a great outside terrace with bar and the whole club is just well bang tidy! This time we have decided to go for a friday on the august bank holiday, so we all have even more time to recover from the usual shenanigans that will undoubtably ensue.

Excited would be a vast understatement when we tell you that we’ve confirmed Dachshund from Highgrade fame to do a live set for us, which he is putting together especially for the night! The man has done so many tunes it’s ridiculous and is one of those rare producers that you know your gonna like his next release before you’ve even heard it! Warming the evening’s proceedings up nicely for us will be Kleo. Hailing from North London, Kleo’s reputation for powerful underground music continues to grow apace. Influenced by all kinds of producers and DJs, he has been honing the deep, moody and melodic style for which he has become known for over 20 years. Look out for Kleo’s new label Kleek which has it’s first release due this summer.

The Disco / House room went down so well at the 17th birthday party, we decided it would be only right to have it as part of Wiggle every time we have a venue to suit, so here we go again! The one and only Freaky Disco will be hosting the room for the evening and our very own Eddie Richards will be putting together something special for us and lets face it, that can only be a good thing and definitely needs to be heard! Terry Francis will also be doing his Disco thang again and bringing us the finest from his god damn funky vaults, old and new. To top things off nicely, Mr Mark Collings who most of you will know from the sadly missed Tag Records shop will be supplying us with some alternative beats from his vast and varied collection.

A big thanks to everyone who joined us for our last Wiggle, it was another complete sell out party and they just keep getting better and better! So on that note we are very very excited to announce that for our 17th birthday party, we will be going back to our roots and tearing it up in the heart of Shoreditch at a particularly nice secret location (not a cold warehouse or car park!!)… that will be disclosed nearer the time. On the night we will have two marvellous mind melding rooms of music, both of which will be fully kitted with Function 1 sound systems and the spec for the main room on the night is gonna vibrate parts you didn’t even know you had! It’s a beast and we cannot wait to unleash it! Here’s the spec = 8 stacks of FK1 made up of 21” Bass Bins and the real beauty is that we have absolutely no sound restrictions at this venue either )

We are excited to announce Shaun Reeves to the line up. Shaun is an enigmatic pioneer who’s trailblazing quest to export his unique brand of cosmic underground house and techno from his hometown of Detroit to Europe and beyond has brought him international acclaim. Alongside best friends Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Seth Troxler he has helped put a warm, esoteric spin on the city’s musical heritage taking it away from clinical minimalism, back towards warmer, more spiritual party music. Together they have formed Visionquest, a genre-busting four-piece DJ combo, live act, record label and forward-thinking school of thought. The last few years have seen Shaun blossom in the studio, both on his own for New York’s Wolf+Lamb, as ‘The Royal We’ with Seth Troxler for Crosstown Rebels, alongside Guti and Miss Fitz for Wolf+Lamb and Raum…musik and most recently as Visionquest remixing Tracey Thorn (for Strange Feeling), doP & Seuil (for Eklo) and Paul Ritch & D’Julz (for Quartz Music).

We are also chuffed to announce Pete Herbert has Joined the line up in our second room shenanigans: Pete is many people, Some of the best disco/house gems you have squealed and wriggled to in clubs over the past few years have probably been created by him, under various guises and with various partners-in-crime. You may know him from such names as Bakazou, Challenge, Cuica, Frontera, L.S.B., Optimo & Reverso 68, just to name a few. Expect an unexpected mix of Balearic leftfield disco/house/italo/dub/funk and beyond!!

A happy new year to you all and thanks to those of you who saw the new year in with us, it was absolutely bonkers!. A big sorry to the people out there who had problems getting in at the start of the night, we were left short on the door due to a member of the Paramount door staff going sick at the last moment and also not being able to open the doors on time for unforeseen reasons didn’t help either. We have had a serious look at our ticket and door system and please be sure that this will NEVER happen again!

We start the first Wiggle of the year off with a bang and after three sell out parties at London’s highest club, we’ve invited back the much requested Cesar Merveille from Luciano’s Cadenza fame. The last time we had Cesar play for us… he blew the roof off Wiggle! So we had to have him back again and this time he will probably blow the bloody doors off! Cesar’s career has been one hell of a rocket ride over the last three years and has seen him in demand all over the globe and become a regular fixture of the worldwide Cadenza show case tours. Cesar has quickly made a name for himself with releases on Cadenza, Circus Company, Serialism, Safari Electronique and others, with his “Chocopop Jazz”—released under the name Cesar Maravillas—making a huge splash in 2008. Making his debut appearance on cadenza in 2009 Cesar touched down like a cyclone with his ep Descarga (already known to clubbers as a highlight of Luciano’s sets) made in collaboration with Pablo Cahn Speyer. Cesar’s sets are full of energy and bounce…. perfect for a good Wiggle.

To set us up on another fine musical journey, we are joined by a firm favourite JB. With his roots firmly etched in the Acid House era, JB (aka Jon Barnet) has continued to develop as one of London’s key underground house music figures, and has kept his fingers in all of the right pies throughout his eponymous career as a highly respected and regarded DJ on the London circuit and beyond and we are very pleased to have him on board with us for the evening ahead.
