Mason’s “Runaway” released!!!!

Mason’s massive disco infused anthem “Runaway” is out via itunes on Monday 18th October on Animal Language.

The track which is backed with the awesome “Let’s Get Ferretic” has been supported by the likes of Steve Aoki, Boris Dlugosh, Aeroplane, Grum and Kissy Sell Out.

Taking slices of Eruption’s cover of the classic Del Shannon 60’s song, “Runaway”, Mason modernize and bastardize at will. Iason and Coen chop up the original hooks like Ken Hom with a cleaver and bind it to a groove that will have necks aching with funky head nodding. 

This chunk of schizoid kitsch will be creating havoc with the funkier dance floors for the rest of the Summer and is already getting massive support from the likes of Steve Aoki, A-Trak and Boris Dlugosh. 

In typical Animal Language style, the ‘flipside’ is in complete contrast. The rodent themed ‘Let’s get Ferretic’ is a paen to our trouser climbing, rabbit hunting furry friends. Indeed, this track is as mad and random as a sack full of ferrets. With its jacking beats and weird descending and ascending lead lines its like the mentally disturbed younger brother of ‘Runaway’ 

Of course this wouldn’t be an Animal Language release without the traditional ‘Refurb™’ taking the lead track in an utterly different non-dance floor direction. This time around Mason head into the ganga smoke filled territory of dub reggae with a Lee Scratch Perry influenced interpretation. Random, but effective!.
