Mason has just completed a mix Cd for the cover of the next issue of DJ mag ( street date 28th April).

The Mix includes mostly tracks from Mason’s own Animal Language imprint as well as recent remixes

for Rex The Dog and Great Stuff Records.

Mason presents Animal Language features 13 tracks including the new release, ‘Corrected’, featuring DMC and Sam Sparro and an uber exclusive

showcasing of the next label release ‘You Are Not Alone’.

Its amazing how one artist is responsible for such a diverse sound across a whole CD but Mason’s eclectic self produced sound covers everything disco, italo, techno , progressive and house in one fell swoop.

Animal Language continues to gather support across DJ barriers and you can expect to hear and see a lot more from this label and Mason in the coming months.

WMC 2009 was all about David Guetta and Kelly Rowland, could WMC 2010 be about this event record? Dutch electro maven Mason is no stranger to hip hop collaborations – his underground sleeper track “Exceeder” became an international pop hit thanks to a “perfect” guest rap by Princess Superstar. With 80s superstar rapper DMC (from Run DMC) and 80s new-wave/retro flavored singer Sam Sparro, “Corrected” definitely sees Mason bringing in an 80s vibe to his modern sounding electro beats. Remixes by Riva Starr, Alex Gopher, Ralvero, J.Majick and Wickaman make this track one to watch for in Miami.

Dutch production team Mason have signed their forthcoming single, ‘Corrected’ featuring legendary hip hop artist Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels (Run DMC) and soulful wonky popper Sam Sparro to Ministry of Sound in the UK. Ministry have licensed the record from Mason’s recently set up imprint, Animal Language, a label currently going from strength to strength.

Mason’s last single ‘Exceeder’ became a huge club hit before achieving success across the globe. The Dutchmen have since remixed for Moby, Robyn and Martin Solvieg as well as releasing club cuts on their own label.

“This is a really special record and its taken a long time to make. To get DMC to rhyme on a record is fantastic and to have someone of the calibre of Sam Sparro to drop in for a chorus makes it even better! The only downside has been the amount of paperwork!” said Mason manager, Steve B of Big Fish Little Fish Music .

‘Corrected’ featuring DMC and Sam Sparro is the first single off Mason’s debut album which also features collaborations with Aqualung, Kurtis Blow and Debbie Clare (Massive Attack).

The track has already received upfront support from Radio DJ Pete Tong and XFMs Eddy Temple Morris. ‘Corrected’ is due for release in October.
