The monkey’s name is ‘Exceeder’, the troublesome beauty carried by one of the most creative yet underrated DJs on the scene – technically flawless with musical roots in hip hop and classical, finely tuned at a ringtone sweatshop in downtown Amsterdam, Mason knows how to rock a party.

Mason’s last single ‘Exceeder’ became a huge club hit before achieving success across the globe. The Dutchmen have since remixed for Moby, Robyn and Martin Solvieg as well as releasing club cuts on their own label.

“This is a really special record and its taken a long time to make. To get DMC to rhyme on a record is fantastic and to have someone of the calibre of Sam Sparro to drop in for a chorus makes it even better! The only downside has been the amount of paperwork!” said Mason manager, Steve B of Big Fish Little Fish Music .

‘Corrected’ featuring DMC and Sam Sparro is the first single off Mason’s debut album which also features collaborations with Aqualung, Kurtis Blow and Debbie Clare (Massive Attack).

The track has already received upfront support from Radio DJ Pete Tong and XFMs Eddy Temple Morris. ‘Corrected’ is due for release in October.
