Originally from Finland and shaped by years on the dance floors of London and Berlin, Carmen Electro has built a sound rooted in the traditions of underground club culture. As a DJ, curator, and dedicated vinyl enthusiast, she channels decades of techno and dance music history into sets that are hypnotic, driving, and deeply immersive.
Carmen approaches DJing as a dialogue between artist and crowd. Her selections move fluidly between tribal rhythms, rolling grooves, and peak-time moments, always guided by a need to create genuine connection. Raw energy, emotional depth, and momentum sit at the core of her sound, inviting dancers into a shared experience where time seems to dissolve.
Vinyl is central to her artistic identity, representing a commitment to intention and craftsmanship that runs through everything she does. In 2025, she launched KUJE Records, a vinyl-focused imprint dedicated to artists pushing the boundaries of dance floor-oriented techno, alongside her event series Rhythm Rituals, built around community, discovery, and meaningful club experiences. That same year she released her debut original production on Berlin-based label SEVEN.
Whether behind the decks, curating releases, or building platforms for others, Carmen’s approach remains consistent: honouring the roots of underground dance music while contributing to its future with authenticity and purpose.
